A conservatory in full sun, comfortable to sit in, with an air conditioning unit on the wall

Our focus

Air conditioning for conservatories

A conservatory is mostly glass, and glass holds nothing. Too warm to sit in by late morning in June, and the coldest room in the house by November. It is the main area we want to specialise in.

One wall-mounted indoor unit deals with both ends of that. In summer it takes the heat out and holds the room where you set it rather than where the weather sets it. In winter it puts heat back in quickly, without waiting for the boiler to work its way round the house to a room on the end of the system.

Most people get a few weeks a year out of a room they paid a lot of money for. The point of fitting something is to get the other eleven months back.

Worth asking

Four questions

The ones that decide whether it is worth having us out to look.

Will it heat it as well as cool it?

Yes. The systems we fit do both from the same unit. That is the main reason they make sense in a conservatory.

Where does the unit go?

There is an indoor unit and an outdoor one. Where they can go depends on the conservatory and the house around it. We work that out at the survey and talk it through before anything is fitted.

Will it work in mine?

Usually. What suits it depends on the size, the amount of glass, how you use the room and where the equipment can go. That is why we look at it rather than quoting off a price list.

What does it cost?

There is no standard price, because no two conservatories are the same. We look at the room and give you an itemised quote.

Stopped using yours?

The survey is free and there is nothing to pay until you have decided.

We fit

  • Mitsubishi
  • Daikin
  • Samsung
  • Panasonic
  • Toshiba
  • Bosch
  • Fujitsu
  • Midea
  • LG
  • electriQ

Which system suits you depends on the room, the layout and the budget. That is a conversation to have at the survey, standing in the room, rather than a decision to make off a website.
